I have been using Wen cleansing conditioner for approximately 2 months now and the reason I gave you a warning in the title was because of this, I love this stuff! And it is fairly pricey, much more than I traditionally spend on my hair, so it has been a bit of a shock to me that I'm willing to pay the big bucks.
But to be truthful, I can't conceive of going back to normal shampoo. I tried once when my Wen conditioner had been getting low, I didn't really want to spend that much capital on my hair. But right after a single shampoo my hair felt terrible! I couldn't tolerate it and decided that I'd just have to find a way to buy this stuff because it really is that good.
So my warning to you is this, if you can't afford to pay for the Wen hair products continuously, don't even try it, because you'll fall in love and then really be in a jam.
You could do what I do and use the extra Wen styling creme and texture balm as a luxury item and just buy the Wen conditioner, this way your dollars will last longer. Although the extra products are wonderful too and I do notice a difference on the days I use them, I just really want to have the conditioner more than anything.
